Imprivata Privileged Access Security (PAS) offer a highly available and performant connectivity framework that uses SSH (secure shell) to create a connectivity platform for remote support. The appliance also offers advanced auditing capabilities and centralized management for remote access.

As a Software Engineer I, you will work closely with experienced developers to build, test, and maintain backend services that power our core applications. The appliance also offers advanced auditing capabilities and centralized management for remote access.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Improving product quality and performance.
- Designing, building, and maintaining user-facing solutions, APIs, services, and systems to fulfill user's needs.
- Working with engineers and contributors across the company to build new features.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services in Java or C#.
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, QA, product managers, and DevOps.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems using team provided technical documentation.
- Other duties as assigned and required.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in computer science or software engineering, or some relevant experience in systems engineering as it relates to testing, reliability, security, and observability.
- Familiarity developing, maintaining, and supporting complex applications.
- Ability to excel in small-group work environments with team-related goals.
- Coding skills in Java or C#.
- Ability to learn new concepts in a fast-paced environment.
