About the Team

The Workday Adaptive Planning team in Brisbane builds data visualization and integration tools that gets data into and out of the product for the largest of our customers.
We take pride in being able to develop stable and scalable solutions to integrate sensitive customer data in a SaaS environment.
We are easy-going, diverse, supportive, and love to share common interests such as playing board games and building LEGO sets.

About the Role

As a Software Engineer in Test (Intern) with the Workday Planning team, you will be part of an innovative and fast-paced scrum team delivering value for Workday planning customers. Working closely with other Quality Engineers, Developers and Product Managers, you will demonstrate and grow your knowledge and creativity to design effective  solutions to ensure a high-quality product for our customers.
 

• You will learn to develop, automate and maintain highly effective test cases during each sprint of the Agile life cycle in a continuous integration environment.

• Learn to execute manual functional testing of features under development and document, investigate and communicate defects discovered during test execution.

• Learn and understand how continuous delivery of software applications is possible by working with dev-ops tools etc

• Learn how applications are build to be response and help break / certify them across multiple form factors / devices.

About You

What we look for in our Interns (Basic Qualifications)

• To be eligible to participate in our Internship Program, In 2025 you will be in your penultimate (second last) year of your degree.

• Available to complete a 12-week internship between December 2025 to February 2026.

• Can apply fundamental computer science and programming concepts to solving problems.

We think these skills / attributes are important as well (Other Qualifications)

• Interest in Quality Assurance methodology, testing techniques & approaches.

• Have interest in automation as part of the software development lifecycle.

• Self-directed and highly motivated.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Approachable and coachable.
