The Role
We’re REA Group and we’re looking for Software Engineers who want to make an impact, fast. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and love tackling complex technical challenges, this is the role for you.
You’ll work alongside talented teams of Engineers, Product Managers and Designers turning big ideas into real-world, high-impact solutions. Every line of code you write will contribute to our bold technical vision, helping transform the way the world experiences property.

What the role is all about:
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications across front-end, back-end, and cloud services
- Contribute to system architecture, design patterns, and technical decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product features
- Write clean, secure, maintainable code following REA’s engineering standards
- Investigate and resolve technical issues
- Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Participate in peer code reviews and knowledge sharing
What we’re looking for
Hands-on experience with some of the following (or similar):
- Experience in software development using languages such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Scala or Kotlin
- Understanding of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and back-end services (Spring Boot, Express, Node.js)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across different technology domains
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including automated testing
- A mindset for continuous learning and improvement
- Effective communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative team environment
- Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment
