Equifax is seeking creative, high-energy, and driven software engineers to join a team of talented professionals working with leading-edge technology. This role offers the opportunity to develop and operate high-scale applications from backend to UI, focusing on operational excellence, security, and scalability in a forward-thinking environment

What you will do

  • Perform application development activities, including unit testing, deployment, and technical documentation.

  • Develop and operate high-scale applications from backend to UI layer, focusing on serverless computing and microservices.

  • Apply modern practices like CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code to drive operational excellence.

  • Diagnose and resolve performance issues while triaging and debugging system-level errors.

  • Integrate systems across teams with existing internal platforms, Data Fabric, and CSA toolsets.

  • Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to translate business vision into reality.

  • Contribute to project planning, including estimation processes and use case specifications.

  • Document code and processes to ensure seamless onboarding and collaboration for other developers.

  • Lead efforts for Sprint deliverables and solve technical problems of medium complexity.

  • Collaborate within a tight-knit engineering team employing agile software development practices.

What experience do you need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • 2+ years of experience with Java, Python, and JavaScript programming languages.

  • Strong experience with software build management tools such as Maven or Gradle.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and frontend/web development.

  • Experience with software testing, performance, and quality engineering strategies.

  • 2+ years of experience with Cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure

What could set you Apart

  • Experience with backend technologies including SpringBoot, SOA, and Microservices.

  • Proficiency in UI development using modern frameworks like Angular and Bootstrap.

  • Hands-on experience with Atlassian tooling (JIRA, Confluence) and version control systems (Git/Github).

  • Experience with automated testing tools such as JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, or SoapUI.

  • A willingness to drive AI usage, not just for personal productivity, but to transform how we work.
