Job DescriptionThe Core Publishing team is the engine room of Nine’s digital ecosystem. We build and scale the high-performance INK APIs and microservices that power Australia’s most iconic mastheads, including The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, and The AFR. What You’ll Do
Scale at Volume: Build and maintain auto-scaling microservices for massive web and app audiences.
Architect & Innovate: Work in autonomous Agile squads to drive system design and architectural decisions.
Engineering Excellence: Write clean, testable code and conduct rigorous peer reviews.
Collaborate: Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to optimize the product experience.
Lead & Mentor: Guide junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Modern Tech: Work with Golang, AWS, GCP, gRPC, Kafka, Postgres, and GraphQL
What You’ll Bring
Go Expertise: Deep experience in Golang and high-quality API development.
Cloud-First Mindset: Strong proficiency in AWS/GCP and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
System Design: A solid understanding of software architecture and microservices.
