In this role you will be an integral part of the Oz Games Studio SIT Team, delivering great quality games to Aristocrat’s product portfolio. We’re looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality product. The Software Test Engineer is an important member of the project team, working closely with the Test Lead and the development team to build a solid understanding of the product architecture. You will create and execute test plans that align to the test strategy and the overarching testing framework.
What You'll Do
- Work collaboratively with the Test Lead and the development team to familiarise with the product architecture and commercial requirements,
- Build and execute custom test plans that align to an overarching test strategy, and validate that the needs of the player, operator and regulator have been met by the products;
- Drive your own learning journey to build a solid understanding of the regulatory requirements applicable to the products you are testing;
- Provide good test traceability, and demonstrate sound and logical reasoning when raising issues to the development team
- Leverage appropriate testing tools and techniques, combined with your own initiative, to optimise efficiency and ensure that our high quality standards are met
- Collaborate well with your Test Lead and other testers to complement each other’s skills and adapt well to changing project priorities and objectives
- Support SIT Management and all testers in the Oz SIT team with effective communication and knowledge sharing to improve overall SIT process efficiency

What We're Looking For
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronics or similar
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Software development and/or testing, including manual product testing experience
- Prior experience in the land-based gaming industry is preferred, or experience in a closely related gaming field
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Microsoft Office, Jira, Linux OS, Windows OS, C++ and/or C# will be highly regarded.
