Role: Global Front Office Solution Architect – Salesforce

Purpose of Role:

 

The Global Front Office Solution Architect role provides overall direction, guidance, definition, and facilitation for the development of current and future state Global solutions being fit for purpose and working as designed.

Global Solution Architects will be working directly with business and IT leaders, various engineering teams, product/process/program owners form multiple countries and are accountable for the Global Enterprise solution being fit for purpose and working as designed to meet global standardization and reusability requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for the Global Front Office Salesforce designs, enablement, and guidance of solution architecture by owning the Global solution for front office objectives and ensuring consistency with the Global architectural direction of the organization.

  • Leads analysis and design of tactical and strategic systems through establishing standard practices for representing and developing information, process, and system models.

  • Produces technical documents such as reference architecture and design documents such as high-level designs, contributes to the architectural context and scope documents. ​

  • Ensures solutions conform to global principles, policies and standards and regulations and are scalable future proof and fit for purpose. 

  • Develops and maintains architectural principles, strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps.

  • Supports in the creation of the low-level designs and reviews design documentation​.

  • Supports the Project Manager in planning activities and technical viewpoints. ​

  • Ensures all key design decisions are logged​.

  • Staying current on emerging technologies and trends and practically and pragmatically incorporating these into future architectures and roadmaps.

 

Skills and Experiences required:

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computing science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of architecture and functionality of Salesforce technologies and solutions (Marketing, Service, Field Service, and Sales)

  • Staying current on emerging technologies and trends and practically and pragmatically incorporating these into future architectures and roadmaps.

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to tell stories that translate data and technology solutions to business stakeholders’ needs/requirements.

  • Highly strategic mindset with ability to connect the dots and translate into key tactical actions.

  • Strong ability to deal with ambiguity.

  • Strong influencing skills across all levels internal and external to the enterprise

  • Strong team player with experience leading and collaborating cross-team.

  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills - demonstrating outside-the-box problem solving skills, pragmatic approach.


Work Experience:

  • Extensive experience with global deployments of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Service and Sales

  • Excellent track record of gaining senior leadership buy-in to high-impact, high-value roadmaps, and business cases.

  • Excellent solution architecture experience

  • Solid experience of senior stakeholder management

  • Extensive experience of architecting and delivering large (£20M+), global transformations involving multiple Systems Integration partners

 

Location  

 

This role based on work from home with the occasional travel to regional technology centres/hubs as well as our Belron Group office in Egham, UK. Overnight stays may be necessary from time to time as needed.  

This is a full-time position, with the opportunity to work flexibly to meet the needs of the individual and the business.
