Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Solution Designer with specialized ESG and Sustainability domain expertise to lead the technical design and delivery of enterprise data integration and regulatory reporting solutions.

In this high-impact, data-focused role, you will work at the intersection of Finance, Sustainability, and Enterprise Data Engineering. You will take ownership of designing end-to-end ESG data pipelines—integrating complex sustainability data feeds into Databricks, establishing scalable data models, and delivering robust reporting architectures to support carbon emissions tracking, environmental metrics, and emerging regulatory compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End ESG Solution Design: Design secure, scalable end-to-end ESG data flows, integration architectures, and data models across SAP Finance and non-SAP enterprise ecosystems.

  • Databricks & Data Pipeline Integration: Identify, ingest, and integrate diverse internal and external sustainability data sources (e.g., energy consumption, scope 1-3 carbon emissions, supply chain metrics) into Databricks.

  • Reporting & Analytics Architecture: Develop detailed solution designs for ESG reporting, operational dashboards, and executive analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI).

  • Data Mapping & Governance: Define complex data mapping, transformation rules, validation controls, and reconciliation requirements to ensure data accuracy and audit readiness.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with Finance, Sustainability, Enterprise Data, and IT engineering squads to translate evolving ESG reporting requirements into actionable technical designs and user stories.

Qualifications

  • Enterprise Solution Design Background: Proven track record as a Solution Designer or Data Architect designing enterprise data integration and reporting solutions.

  • ESG & Sustainability Domain Knowledge: Demonstrated experience working with ESG datasets, sustainability reporting, carbon accounting, or energy consumption metrics.

  • Databricks & Data Engineering Tooling: Hands-on experience with Databricks, SQL, data lakehouse architectures, and modern ETL/ELT pipeline design.

  • SAP & Enterprise Ecosystems: Familiarity with SAP Finance ecosystems and enterprise BI platforms (e.g., Power BI).

  • Technical Documentation & Engagement: Exceptional technical writing capabilities for architectural documentation, data flow diagrams, and stakeholder engagement.
