Overview
Welo Data is looking for fluent Spanish Caribbean (Dominican Republic) speakers to participate in a professional studio recording project. No prior experience is required, just confidence, a clear voice, and a willingness to collaborate!
This is not an acting role. We’re simply looking for individuals who can read and speak naturally, clearly, and confidently in the associated language while being recorded in a studio setting.
What you will do:
-Speak clearly and confidently in your dialect while participating in studio recording sessions.
-Improvise where needed to enhance the delivery and ensure natural flow.
-Follow straightforward recording instructions from the studio team.
No memorization required. No performance background required.
Project Details
Start Date: April 2026
Duration: 3 weeks, with the possibility of extension
Commitment: 4 hours a day, up to 2 days in the studio, throughout a week.
Opportunity Type: Freelance/Independent Contract
Hiring In: Mexico City, Sydney, Seoul, Tokyo, Berlin, London, Los Angeles, Manchester, New York, Seattle, Singapore (On-site in a recording studio)
Language: Spanish (Caribbean)
Compensation/Hourly Rate: $30 to $55/hour
Please note that compensation varies by location. This is a global role, and hourly rates vary depending on the country of residence, in line with local market benchmarks. We will provide the applicable rate during the recruitment process.
Requirements:
-Native-level fluency in the target language.
-Comfortable speaking publicly in a professional studio setting.
-Ability to traverse a normal conversation for 2-5 minutes with a clear, natural speaking voice.
-Reliable and able to attend in-person studio sessions.
-Prior experience in teaching, public speaking, customer service, or similar roles is a plus — but not required.
Referral bonus: Earn a $75 USD referral bonus when both you and your referral complete all application steps (full registration) and both of you complete an in-studio recording session.
