We are currently on the hunt for an ambitious Sales/Partnership Representative to join our ANZ Team. 

What is Oppizi

Oppizi is the first major multi-channel player in offline performance marketing. We’ve built a technology that enables tracking, scaling, and optimisation of flyering campaigns. We offer 4 channels, Hand-to-hand (in people’s hands), Door-to-Door (in resident’s letterboxes), Unaddressed Mail/Direct Mail (in people’s letterboxes via the national post service & OOH (posters on the streets)). We operate in 10 countries, the main ones being Australia, New Zealand, France, the UK, the US, Canada & more.. We are very privileged to work with flagship accounts like Uber, Uber Eats, DoorDash, ClassPass, Marley Spoon, and many others. 

Job description

The Sales/Partnership Associate will have the unique opportunity to play a cross-functional role, touching various departments including Sales, Operations, Product, and IT/Tech. Tasked with spearheading the introduction of two new business verticals in Australia & New Zealand — Unaddressed Mail Service and Package Insert Marketing — The Sales/Partnership Representative will reach out to potential prospects & handle incoming leads. The position demands a strong knack for networking, a strategic sales approach, and a solid foundation in marketing.

Launch of the insert marketing businessin AU/NZ

  • Identify and engage with procurement hubs of newspapers and e-commerce entities, among others.
  • Continually broaden our procurement vendor database.
  • Establish standardized SLAs with these partner entities.
  • Analyse and communicate the logistical nuances of each vendor, including delivery timelines, procedures, insert capacity, and audience demographics.
  • Collaborate with the data team to devise a model that allows Oppizi to pilot this new business initiative.
  • Once the venture is affirmed, assist the Product team in understanding the core elements of this new business, ensuring software development is tailored to client needs.

Sales and Negotiation:

  • Manage the negotiation and closing of new business deals (inbound and outbound)
  • Develop and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of new clients and to achieve revenue targets
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the print industry, business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of securing new business deals
  • Knowledge of the ANZ media buying market is appreciated but not required
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies, with a focus on achieving revenue and growth targets
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and drive business performance
  • Strong skills in Google Spreadsheets and Excel. 
  • Strong CRM and data/reporting management skills (preferably Hubspot)
  • Willingness to travel as needed for team meetings/training, client meetings, and industry events.
  • You are an active relationship builder who can collaborate with internal and external teams to consistently improve processes and communication workflows
