Job SummaryAs a Senior Data Analyst within the Master Data Management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of item, vendor, and customer masterfiles. You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, improving data governance processes, and driving initiatives that enhance data quality across the organization. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a complex environment and is passionate about data excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the integrity of master data from point of entry through dissemination across systems and stakeholders.
Analyze and maintain item, vendor, and customer masterfiles to support business operations and strategic decision-making.
Develop and document processes that improve data accuracy, consistency, and governance.
Act as a subject matter expert and resource for less experienced colleagues; may provide informal guidance or direction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data issues and implement corrective actions.
Utilize internal and external resources to accomplish goals and support business needs.
Anticipate changes in data requirements and proactively adjust processes and strategies.
Contribute to the development of new methods and best practices in data management.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of experience in data analysis, master data management, or a related discipline.
Proven ability to resolve complex data problems using creativity and sound judgment.
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality principles, and master data systems.
Experience with data tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Excel, ERP systems, MDM tools).
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with significant latitude in determining objectives and priorities.
