Are you ready to lead and manage a product design delivery team within Spectrum's Digital Platforms organization?

As a Senior Manager, Product Design, you will champion systems-thinking and research-focused design, participating in a dynamic product design ecosystem. In this role, you will use your organizational and interpersonal skills to facilitate the design-inspired process, leveraging user data to support business partners in enhancing Spectrum's processes, products, and service models.
WHAT OUR SENIOR MANAGERS OF PRODUCT DESIGN ENJOY MOST
  • Manage an innovative and collaborative team to produce exceptional digital products that enhance the customer experience
  • Establish and evolve KPIs for products and initiatives and performance targets for management of team
  • Identify design tooling solutions and product design best practices that consistency align to design system guidelines
  • Support team members to help them gain confidence and experience with communication, leadership and collaboration skills, and enable growth and advancement in their careers
  • Provide direction for development of new products, technologies, and initiatives, as well as existing technologies and current operational initiatives
  • Review selections on bids for contracted projects, and provide recommendations as necessary
  • Facilitate capital budget process and manage approved budget plan
  • Manage contractors and consultant organizations supporting the delivery of technology projects
  • Ensure efficient, high-quality design delivery specific to consuming teams
  • Design for the diversity, uniqueness and, in some cases, disabilities of our customers

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Design/HCI or related field, or equivalent real-world experience

Experience:
  • 5+ years of UX/UI or product design management experience
  • Experience with designing high-fidelity prototypes
  • Experience with research-driven, iterative product design

Abilities:
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
  • Ability to supervise, manage, motivate, and train cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Ability to demonstrate UX/UI design management skills via resume and portfolio
  • Ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage product design work

Skills:
  • Effective business acumen and sense of urgency to achieve business results
  • Understanding of development processes
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, and the ability to "sell" ideas to various audiences,
  • technical and non-technical

Working Conditions:
  • Office environment
  • Travel as required

Schedule:
  • Full Time
  • This position is eligible to work in a hybrid work model (combination of in-office and remote days)

The base pay for this position generally is between
$100,600.00 and $214,200.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
