About the Team
The ANZ team of Services Executives is a diverse group with extensive skills and deep experience ranging from professional services consulting, project delivery, domain functional expertise and services sales.
The team plays a significant role in connecting Workday’s services and sales organisations; ensuring that we are supporting subscription sales by differentiating Workday’s services approach and methodology, as well as ensuring that our customers are set up to be successful in their deployment projects and meet their business objectives.
Our aim is to be trusted advisors to our prospects and customers, working to Workday’s core values of Customer Service and Integrity, and protecting Workday’s proven track record of customer happiness. Successful candidates will be passionate about working as part of an account team supporting sales cycles; engaging with customers to develop deployment strategies and plans that meet their requirements; and handling detailed and sophisticated information to prepare estimates, proposals and contracts.
About the Role
Workday is the leader in enterprise-class, software-as-a-service (SaaS) Human Capital Management and Financial Management solutions for leading global businesses.
As a Workday Services Executive in the ANZ Field Services team, you will be responsible for planning, management, and execution of Professional Services business development activities of Workday propositions across Australia and New Zealand. You will be a key team member of the Workday Pre-sales Services team, working alongside the Workday Account Executives, driving Workday Subscription sales, including Core HCM, Australian Payroll, Core Financials, Planning and Analytics.
You’ll use your experience with consulting sales and project delivery to help prospects put together a plan for a successful project, including resources, timeline, and costs. You’ll employ effective selling strategies to optimally position Workday’s SaaS Solutions and Platform technologies as the efficient, modern alternative, and you will be a specialist in Workday’s innovative deployment methodology. You will work closely with Workday Service Partners to help them plan successful projects and grow their business.

What you’ll do

Understand the competitive landscape and prospect needs so you can optimally position the value of Workday’s innovative deployment methodology and Professional Services.

Focus on the Workday Financial and HCM segments for the ANZ Region, working with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers.

Present Workday’s Services overview and its value proposition.

Conduct detailed services discovery sessions with prospects to understand their business challenges and requirements.

Build and validate Professional Services Proposals and high-level Project Plans.

Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with Workday Service Partners.

Assess project team training needs for prospects and customers.

Maintain accurate and timely prospect, pipeline, and services forecast data.

Lead, negotiate, and close Professional Services Agreements, Statements of Work and other contractual documentation.

Provide support for services activities and events.
About You
Basic Qualifications (must have experience)
-
Demonstrable experience leading implementation projects in the domains of –Financials/ERP systems, or Human Capital Management, as well as delivering large-scale systems implementation projects.

Proven experience in Professional Services sales, preferably in Financials/ERP, and/or HCM & Australian Payroll solutions.
Other Qualifications (preferred, but not essential)

Proven track record in leading sophisticated services sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful quota attainment.

Understand and can effectively explain the benefits of cloud architectures.

Solid understanding of vendors, products, and services in the Financials/ERP, and HCM Enterprise Application space.

Great presentation skills while participating in a fast-paced, sophisticated product and services sales cycle.

Strong attention to detail and experience with commercial processes and tools, including RFP responses, project calculation and/or estimation tools, and scope description and/or contract documentation.

Ability to travel up to 35%.
