Job Description
As Sr Staff Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of standardized consumer facing identity solutions for NBCUniversal and its brands. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative identity solutions that meet the unique needs of our brands. Your expertise in ForgeRock products, industry best practices, and strategic thinking will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive IAM strategies that align with our product objectives while ensuring unparalleled security and user experiences.
Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for ForgeRock Identity Management solutions, guiding the team in architecting and deploying IAM systems tailored to each client's requirements.
• Architect and design customized identity management solutions utilizing ForgeRock products, ensuring API integration for front end integrations.
• Lead end-to-end identity management projects, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines and budgets while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of identity management specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Establish strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and providing strategic guidance on IAM solutions to meet their long-term goals.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop customized identity management solutions using ForgeRock products, adhering to industry standards and compliance regulations.
• Implement robust security practices and risk management strategies to safeguard identities and protect sensitive information.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the IAM domain, recommending improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our identity management offerings.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of project requirements, design decisions, and implementation details to facilitate seamless knowledge transfer and support.
• On call support for business critical high traffic events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of related Engineering experience
• Proven experience of 5+ years in managing ForgeRock Identity Management projects and teams.
• Deep understanding of identity management concepts, IAM protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, SAML, LDAP), Federation, FIDO2 and identity governance principles.
• Hands-on experience with ForgeRock Identity Management, ForgeRock Access Management, ForgeRock Identity Gateway and ForgeRock Directory Services.
• Proficiency in Java programming for customizing and extending ForgeRock solutions.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing high-availability solutions for handling internet scale traffic.
• Experience deploying ForgeRock solutions and managing upgrades on cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Familiarity with modern IAM technologies, cloud-based IAM solutions, and identity-related compliance standards.
• Strong project delivery skills with a track record of successful IAM implementations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
• ForgeRock certifications (e.g., ForgeRock Certified Identity Management Specialist) would be a definite advantage.

• Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee's residence.
