monday.com is looking for an NYC-based Staff Accountant to join our expanding global Finance department!
As a Staff Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the accounting and month-end process. In this role, you will report to our US Controller. We are looking for someone who thrives under pressure in a fast-paced environment and has high attention to detail.
Please note that this is a hybrid position of 3 days/week in our NYC office.
About The Role
- Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close.
- Credit Card and Bank Reconciliations across multiple accounts and currencies.
- Work with Procurement, FP&A and team leads on the end-to-end PR to PO process.
- Manage Accounts Payable process, including but not limited to vendor onboarding, bill entry, vendor payments, preparing payment reports, ensuring there are proper POs for all bills, and liaising with vendors as necessary.
- Monitor corporate credit cards and own creating new virtual cards for special events or new employees.
- Assist with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Assist with employeeד expense reimbursement review and upload.
- Ad-hoc reporting as required.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years related work experience, Public Company/SaaS experience is a plus
- Prior experience with NetSuite
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance
- Highly detail oriented, ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organization and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of MS Office with strong Excel skills
- Conversational knowledge of Portuguese or Spanish is a plus

Compensation finally awarded to the candidate will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of New York City may differ based on the cost of labor and such additional factors for such other locations
