Job Duties and Responsibilities
The responsibilities as a Senior / Lead Data Engineer include the following
1. Data Modelling and Data Design
2. Big Data Design and Development
3. Developing ETL pipelines both real time and batch
4. Design and develop business and technical data insights with effective data Visualizations
5. Communicate and coordinate with cross functional teams for data deliveries
6. Business Intelligence and Data Analytics
7. Mentoring Junior Data Engineers in the team including code and design reviews
Skills, Experience and Requirements
1. Experience in Apache Spark - PySpark and Scala
2. Experience in AWS Big Data Services including S3, EMR, Glue, Athena
3. Experience with real time solutions using Kafka
4. Experience in BI tools such as Superset, Tableau, Redash and Kibana
5. Excellent SQL and Analytical SQL skills
Looking for a candidate with more than 15 - 16 years experience.
