Staff Software Engineer

Constantinople is the first of its kind: an all-in-one software and operational platform for banks. The Role

A Staff Software Engineer at Constantinople will be a key technical leader (IC), responsible for designing, developing, and delivering complex software solutions that are at the core of our banking platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect and build software that sets new industry standards for reliability, scalability, and security.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the development of scalable software components
• Develop and maintain critical/complex platform features
• Be responsible for cross-team initiatives and provide coaching and direction to the engineering team
• Develop and drive architectural changes across projects
• Set the standard for security across the engineering team
• Provide decisions on service performance and design implementation

Who You Are

• Have a deep understanding of the SDLC
• 8+ years of experience developing sophisticated code
• Experience with building and managing large-scale features across multiple teams
• Strong teamwork skills that foster productive relationships, adding to the company culture
• Write clean, maintainable code and ensure code reviews and best practices are followed
• Effectively handle complex problems
• Have experience with mentoring engineers
• Experience in serverless patterns on AWS / Google would be an advantage
