ResponsibilitiesHere’s what you’ll do during a typical day as a Stewarding Supervisor at Conrad Dubai:
- Prepare for exceptional service: Coordinate with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to ensure every kitchen and dining outlet has the clean, polished equipment it needs, when it needs it.
- Care for every detail: Oversee the cleaning, storage, and distribution of china, glassware, silverware, and stewarding equipment, protecting their quality and appearance.
- Maintain impeccable standards: Supervise cleaning and sanitising across kitchens and back-of-house areas, ensuring the team follows Hilton HACCP procedures and local health requirements.
- Keep equipment service-ready: Check that dishwashing machines and other stewarding equipment are used correctly, maintained, and reported promptly when repairs are needed.
- Manage resources responsibly: Monitor stock, breakages, and supply usage, helping control costs without compromising quality.
- Lead with care: Assign daily duties, train and coach team members, and recognise great work to build a confident, dependable team.
- Protect guest and team member well-being: Promote safe working practices and respond promptly to hygiene or safety concerns.
