Job Description

  • Together we’ll achieve results for our customers by the accurate handling, warehousing, and distribution of aircraft parts
  • Permanent Full Time opportunity on a 7-day rotating shift roster
  • Located at the Sydney Distribution Centre, Mascot
  • Qantas Airways Limited (United Workers Union) Enterprise Agreement 2023-Level 3.1

As a Storeperson you will be responsible for the management and coordination of all-day operations to ensure all aircraft parts are controlled, packed ready for delivery for servicing of aircraft. You will be a team player who can assess and monitor inventory levels for distribution and be responsible for quality completion of all routine work activities within controlled areas of the operation.

You’ll have –

  • Forklift Licence
  • Current Drivers License (ability to drive manual will be preferred)
  • RF Handheld experience
  • Experience in operating warehouse/ freight management systems
  • Commitment to achieving customer service excellence through KPI’s and disciplined warehousing
  • Understanding of logistics planning, workflows and operational control
  • Basic computer data base knowledge and a capacity to learn basic logistic management programs
  • Experience in logistics interactions with customers
  • Empathy and a strong commitment to Customer Service
  • Able to deal with competing priorities
  • Team player with an ability to work under supervision
  • Ability to work on a rotating shift roster
  • Ability to qualify for and hold a Red ASIC identification card
  • Working knowledge of Airports (advantageous)
