The opportunity

As a Strategic Account Director, your main objectives are to meet or exceed sales goals within a set of client enterprise strategic accounts. Using a consultative approach, you are expected to determine customers’ needs and provide them with possible business solutions, while bringing previous industry knowledge to the table.

As a TechnologyAdvice team member, you would get to be a part of a positive sales culture and partake in fun team events. We’ll make sure you have a dedicated support team from pre to post-sale along with providing resources such as a sales enablement team, an expansive list of tools, an SDR team, and more to help drive the business forward.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and social media
  • Create and execute key sales and business development initiatives to increase the sales pipeline
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around TA offerings to prepare and deliver appropriate proposals that accurately describe those products and set proper expectations
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
  • Manage contract negotiations
  • Participate in exhibitions, conferences, and onsite client meetings on behalf of the company
  • Negotiate and close deals by handling rebuttals and objections


Who you are

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Technology Data, Demand Generation, Digital Media, and research-driven integrated marketing campaigns
  • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
  • A proven seller that has consistently sold $2-5MM in demand gen, display advertising, and content syndication lead programs
  • A hunter sales approach 
  • Have extensive experience dealing with larger, comprehensive deals
  • Experience finding budget holders inside enterprise tech organizations
  • Knowledge of the current and evolving digital media and demand generation landscapes 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Competitive mentality, and a confident and determined outlook
  • Resilience - the ability to cope with rejection

Salary Range
We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision. Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Annual pay range

$116,000$140,000 AUD
