Strategic Account Manager, Partners
Team Global Express is hiring a Strategic Account Manager – Partners to join our Wholesale Partners & Brokers Team in Sydney.
This is a key role responsible for managing and growing our National and Global Wholesale Partners. You will work with large clients across multiple companies, helping them get the most out of TGE’s delivery networks and solutions.
You will report to the Head of Sales, Partners and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver strong commercial outcomes, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and grow multi-modal transport revenue with a targeted focus on growing our eCommerce spend
Understand customer goals and business needs, and position TGE solutions to unlock value
Lead contract negotiations and annual rate reviews with senior decision-makers
Identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell across domestic and cross-border services
Partner with pricing, solutions, and operations teams to develop tailored proposals
Manage contract renewals and overall commercial health of accounts
Engage regularly with customers to ensure satisfaction and continuous improvement
Prepare and present sales and performance reports
Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
Lead customer meetings and planning sessions using sales tools and templates
Qualifications & Experience
5–8 years’ experience in face-to-face B2B sales or account management
Strong commercial and financial acumen
Proven track record managing complex accounts and delivering growth
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to influence at senior executive level (internally and externally)
Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions
Degree in Business, Sales, Logistics or Marketing preferred
CRM experience (e.g. Salesforce) essential
Desirable Skills
Experience working in multi-modal logistics, eCommerce, or supply chain
Background managing global or high-value enterprise accounts
Experience leading complex sales and implementation cycles
Ability to work across multiple time zones and geographies
Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills highly desirable due to global customer base
