Your outreach will power regional growth and support the larger sales motion. This role is built for someone who thrives in a high-activity environment, enjoys connecting with firms in person and virtually, and is motivated by clear and measurable goals.
What you'll do:
- Prospect accounting and bookkeeping firms that serve 175+ or more clients

- Host one monthly event in your region to attract and engage new partner firms (10-15 attendees)
- Represent Xero at 3 to 4 major industry conferences per year, running booth operations and capturing qualified leads
- Guide firms through early-stage onboarding by helping them join the partner program and activate their first paid client
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine outreach strategies and lead handoffs
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM records to support forecasting and reporting
What success looks like:
- Maintaining weekly outbound calls (100+) and weekly meeting cadence (15 with 5 in-person).
- Maintain event hosting/management cadence along with attending industry conferences.
- Clear progression from first contact to activation, with new firms signing partner agreements and onboarding their first paid client
- Clear impact on new customer growth through partner acquisition
- CRM records that reflect clean handoffs and transparent reporting
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in sales, business development or partner acquisition
- Proven success converting cold leads into qualified opportunities
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders at small firms both virtually and in person
- Strong organizational habits with the ability to manage multiple conversations and follow-ups
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Willingness to travel regularly across Austin and Houston
You’ll join a mission-driven team that believes in the power of small business. You’ll be supported, challenged and given opportunities to grow in a company that values purpose and performance.
