The opportunity
We’re seeking a Strategic Project Lead to provide enterprise-level oversight of complex technology initiatives, ensuring delivery is predictable, outcomes-focused and aligned to strategic priorities.
This role goes beyond traditional project leadership, combining strategy, execution and assurance to drive measurable enterprise outcomes. You’ll use data, automation and AI-enabled tools to enable transparent trade-offs, proactively manage risk, and support informed decision-making across portfolios.

Your new role
As the Strategic Project Lead, you’ll provide strategic oversight across technology projects and programs, maintaining a clear line of sight from strategic intent through to realised enterprise outcomes. You’ll operate across portfolios, shaping delivery roadmaps, strengthening enterprise RAID practices, and embedding modern, data‑driven ways of working to manage risk, dependencies and capacity at scale.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead oversight of complex technology initiatives, ensuring scope, milestones, benefits and dependencies are clearly linked to enterprise priorities
- Develop and maintain dynamic, data‑driven delivery roadmaps that integrate scope, sequencing, capacity and dependencies across initiatives
- Own enterprise‑grade RAID outcomes, shifting from static registers to decision‑enabling insights that support timely intervention and prioritisation
- Leverage automation and AI‑assisted tooling to enhance planning, execution and assurance, reducing manual reporting and improving delivery predictability
- Operate within enterprise governance frameworks while ensuring governance supports outcomes and executive decision‑making
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders managing complex stakeholder and vendor environments and providing clear advice on delivery feasibility and risk
About you
You’re an experienced delivery leader with a strong enterprise mindset, comfortable operating in complexity and influencing at senior levels. You bring a balance of strategic thinking and execution discipline, with a passion for using data, automation and modern delivery practices to improve outcomes.
You will have:
- Extensive experience leading technology projects and/or programs in complex enterprise environments
- Strong capability in enterprise planning, dependency management and delivery governance
- Proven experience using delivery and portfolio tooling such as Planview, Jira and Power BI (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to manage enterprise RAID outcomes and proactively address delivery risk
- Strong executive communication and influencing skills across business, technology and vendor partners
- Data‑literate, outcomes‑driven and pragmatic, with an interest in AI‑enabled analytics and continuous improvement
