What will you contribute? 

As part of the Lending sales team in the ASEAN region, you will report to the Regional Director, and play an important role in helping to build fundamental account plans, operational strategy and drive sales activities. 

 

Responsibilities & Deliverables

As a Strategic Sales & Account Management Senior Executive, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Sales Management
    Lead the selling and upselling of Finastra Lending solutions. Manage and close opportunities with appropriate authorization to achieve or exceed financial targets.

  • Forecasting
    Provide timely and accurate forecasts in Finastra’s standard format to support short-term sales, medium-term revenue planning, and long-term strategic goals.

  • Pipeline Development
    Identify market opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline to ensure annual sales targets are consistently met.

  • Account Planning
    Develop and maintain short- and long-term account plans for both new and existing customers, ensuring key client requirements are addressed to drive revenue growth.

  • Sales Cycle Execution
    Initiate and manage the full sales cycle, ensuring adherence to Finastra’s standards and best practices.

  • Proposal Management
    Take a lead role in advising, preparing, and presenting proposals to clients and prospects, ensuring alignment with Finastra’s standards and maximizing opportunity potential.

  • Client Relationship Building
    Establish and nurture long-term relationships with senior bankers in target segments, keeping them informed of Finastra product developments to support business growth.

  • Partner Collaboration
    Support the sales cycle by contributing to project definitions for third-party and consultancy sales, optimizing opportunities through strategic partnerships.

  • Market Research
    Conduct detailed market research to profile target banks, including their systems, key personnel, strategic direction, and competitor landscape. Share insights with internal stakeholders to inform strategy.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    Collaborate with Product Centers, Marketing, and Pre-Sales teams to gather market intelligence, align on go-to-market strategies, and ensure consistent representation of Finastra in the marketplace.
     

Requirements and Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 10–12 years of experience in software sales, with a strong track record of success.
  • Minimum of 8 years selling into the financial services industry (e.g., banks, asset management firms, insurance companies).
  • Background in Tier 1 or Tier 2 system integrators or software solution providers is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize and build compelling value propositions.
