Student Services Officer

This is a non-teaching position which plays a crucial role in welcoming and supporting students and answering general queries and offering guidance.

• Answer general queries and gather data on student queries
• Issue Music/Meeting Room Keys
• Check Music Room condition
• Update & maintain staff directory
• Update & maintain student directory
• Hang up posters
• Take reception phone calls
• Other duties as required
• Make appointments
• Order food/snacks for student activities

Essential

•  A proactive and energetic disposition
•  Strong communication skills
• Ability to work full time on campus
• Valid working with Children Check
• Be agile and problem solve

Desirable

• Completion of a diploma level qualification with relevant work related experience or a certificate level qualification with post-certificate relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
• Well-developed administration and communication skills that include a high level of accuracy and an attention to detail that allows the appointee to undertake basic financial transactions and data entry processes
• Customer Service experience
• Excellent written communication skills
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment
