As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you’ll be part of a high-performing team managing a diverse portfolio of operational responsibilities. This includes rotational support across key supply chain functions within Qantas, such as Component Campaigns, Charter Flights, Line Station Planning & Logistics Management, Loans & Borrows, Fly-Away Kits, and Material Sales.

The role offers the opportunity to build broad experience and strengthen your understanding of the supply chain operations that underpin Qantas’ operational reliability. The primary focus of this role is to maintain part availability and ensure effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders to prevent any impact on Operational On-Time Performance (OTP) due to insufficient spare parts.

You’ll have –

  • Extensive experience in supply chain, purchasing, logistics management, and inventory optimisation
  • Sound understanding of planning, purchasing, repair management and inventory control principles
  • Proven experience in analytical ability with problem solving skills
  • Flexible team-oriented approach to enable working within a small group with some shared responsibilities
  • Effective time management and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-motivation, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Continuous improvement mindset with sound compliance awareness
  • Self-motivated and ability to work without supervision
  • Communicate effectively in both written and oral forms
  • Proficient in SUPPLY, Mx and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
