Job Summary

The Finance team in Australia and New Zealand will play an instrumental role in driving forward the Unilever Ice Cream business during and after its separation, as we move towards becoming a fully functioning standalone company. The roles will be dynamic, fast paced and offer real business ownership to help unlock the full potential of both the business and the team members.

The Supply Chain Finance Analyst is an important role in helping the ANZ Ice Cream business to accurately forecast and manage SC costs to help deliver the business targets. Key responsibilities include partnering the logistics team to manage cost, analytics of supply chain cost changes including product costs, and controlling the business waste process. Alongside this they will support in ad hoc performance reviews of supply chain costs.

This is an exciting role within the ANZ Finance organisation, offering ownership of important cost lines, direct partnering of key stakeholders, and the opportunity to continue developing business acumen in a dynamic environment.

Role Responsibilities:

The Supply Chain Finance Analyst will be required to take ownership of the following:

  • Support SCF Manager with monthly Gross Margin results analysis (includes understanding and providing visibility of complex intercompany materials variances, Exchange Rate Differences, Purchase Price Variances (PPV) and mix).

  • Support in quarterly pricing process and co-ordinate with Operating Centre Hub, Planning & Procurement Operations teams.

  • Oversee the end-to-end business waste process to prevent, manage and eliminate at risk inventory, with a key focus on slow moving and obsolete goods.

  • Prepare and analyse key business waste reports and communicate insights to the wider business to aid senior management in decision making.

  • Partner the Logistics team with the forecast and actuals delivery, covering transport, warehousing, and Detention & Demurrage.

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning systems.

  • Strong understanding of a commercial P&L and excel modelling

  • Excellent communication skills, able to present effectively to stakeholders in the organization and flex communication style depending on the audience.

  • Ability to manage stakeholders, develop collaborative relationships and hold others accountable.

  • Ability to drive own agenda acting autonomously to deliver business value and targets.

  • Experience in prior costing roles ideal.

  • You are resilient and can deliver in a fast-moving and uncertain environment, helping cross-functional teams navigate finance processes whilst maintaining the high level of control required.

  • You will need to be self-driven and self-sufficient, whilst ruthlessly prioritizing tasks based on time-sensitive deadlines, go/no-go decision support and general business partnering.
