Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist to join the MQ-28 Ghost Bat Production Facility.
This position plays an essential role, conducting and coordinating procurement activities in support of the Wellcamp build team, as well as the future production support teams. This position will be based at the Wellcamp airport site and later at the BDA production Facility at Wellcamp.

As the Supply Chain Procurement Specialist at Boeing you will:
- Prepare customer specific charts and reports for procurement agents and management to support analysis and management of procurement elements (e.g., supplier cost, delivery, quality).
- Enter data, run queries, perform updates and edit databases for procurement agents, management and other customers to ensure data integrity and timeliness.
- Complete procurement activities. Responsible for mid value and mid complex procurement and release to previously negotiated strategic agreements. Communicate internally and externally to facilitate contracting processes
- Communicate with procurement agents and internal customers to identify and resolve issues associated with the procurement cycle (e.g., quotes, billing, contracts and other documentation discrepancies) to ensure contractual compliance
- Collect, organize, edit and provide data from various computer systems and databases to procurement agents and management to effectively evaluate processes and performance within the procurement cycle.
Who we're looking for
- A sound understanding of Supply Chain methodology and processes
- Previous experience in Integrated Logistics Fundamentals
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
- Demonstrated experience of Aeronautical product requirements
- Ability to identify, establish and promote supply process improvements
- Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling open and effective communication among stakeholders
- Competent in the use of PC, MS Windows and MS Office suite
- Defence Industry experience will be highly regarded
