Job Description :

Who are we?

From humble beginnings to extraordinary futures, Diageo is centred on crafting incredible stories of ambitious possibilities. From our iconic global brands such as Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Tanqueray and Don Julio, to our local homegrown heroes Bundaberg Rum, Ello and Mr Black, we are a team of pioneers, looking to lead the future of our industry and brands from today.

At Diageo, you will be a chosen custodian of our brand portfolio, entrusted with building brands for consumers to celebrate with in the moments that matter. Alongside you will be a group of ambitious, passionate and innovative people, who will help you to achieve extraordinary heights. Together, you will help us create a future worth celebrating.

What will your role be?

Are you a Supply Planner who’s naturally curious, loves asking why, and gets energy from making things work better than they did yesterday? This role shifts the focus from traditional BAU planning into Continuous Improvement within Supply Planning. As a Supply Planning Continuous Improvement Specialist, you’ll use your planning background to identify inefficiencies, translate complex technical information into insights, and lead initiatives that improve how our supply network operates across ANZ.  You’ll still understand the rhythm of planning — but your true impact comes from improving it.

*Please note this is an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract*

What does this role look like for you?

  • Find opportunities to improve planning accuracy, inventory health, service levels and ways of working across the supply planning lifecycle.

  • Apply a curious, analytical approach to uncover root causes and drive sustainable solutions.

  • Interpret technical data, system outputs and process flows, and convert them into clear improvement opportunities and practical changes.

  • Bridge the gap between systems, data and people.

  • Lead and support improvement initiatives, pilots and process changes using strong project management fundamentals — from problem definition through to implementation and benefit tracking.

  • Balance multiple workstreams while keeping partners aligned and outcomes on track.

  • Partner closely with Supply Planners, Demand Planning, Operations, Procurement and Systems teams to embed improvements into day-to-day execution.

  • Influence without authority and build trust across a diverse stakeholder group.

  • Employ your understanding of imports, local production and third-party manufacturing to improve flow, resilience and decision-making across the network.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Background in Supply Planning or Materials Planning within FMCG or a similar fast-paced industry

  • Hands-on experience with planning and replenishment systems (SAP highly regarded)

  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret technical or process-related information

  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset — always looking for smarter, better ways of working

  • Solid project management skills, with experience leading change from idea to execution

  • Confidence working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders at different levels

  • High curiosity, problem-solving capability and comfort navigating ambiguity

Why join us?

At Diageo, we don’t just plan supply — we continuously evolve how we do it. You’ll have the opportunity to shape smarter processes, influence how decisions are made, and leave a lasting improvement footprint across a complex FMCG supply network.

You’ll also enjoy competitive benefits, flexible work options, and a culture that celebrates growth, learning and real impact — all while helping deliver products that sit at the heart of celebrations around the world.

Commitment to Inclusion & Diversity

Diageo champions diversity as a catalyst for innovation. We actively promote employment opportunities for people with disabilities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, LGBTI communities, and other diverse groups. We ensure inclusivity through reasonable adjustments throughout our recruitment process.
