The role:
Due to internal team moves, we are recruiting for a detailed oriented early to mid-career Supply Planner to join our supply team in Springvale. Joining our local team, you will work closely with the ANZ Supply Chain Manager to manage the supply planning process for our NZ business, ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands of Diversey products.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Planning: Accurately forecast, place, and expedite purchase orders with manufacturing and external suppliers.
On-Time & In-Full (OTIF) Excellence: Ensure targets are met through efficient and effective supply chain management.
Cost management: Closely monitoring costings with a focus on freight of goods and internal transfer of stock.
Inventory Optimisation: Maintain ideal stock levels in our NZ warehouse to optimum levels.
Collaboration & Coordination: Closely liaise a with internal functions (demand planning, sales, production, warehousing and logistics), customers and external suppliers.
Data -Driven decision making: Utilise data and reports to support decision making; looking at performance metrics to suggest and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Supply Chain reviews: Prepare, present and support with supply chain review meeting process.
Process improvement: Implement and refine systems to boost efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
What you’ll bring to us
A couple of years supply chain experience in supply chain planning.
Knowledge of SAP WQR is a bonus, or similar inventory management systems.
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
An analytical aptitude, you can manage numbers with ease.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Be proactive, showing tenacity to follow up to get the job done.
