What will your role be?

Australia is a highly significant market within International with a very strong track record of growth & highly ambitious future plans. Innovation is a key driver of business growth.

This role is responsible for successful implementation of a variety of projects each year. The primary focus of this role is the end-to-end management of minor change and imports projects, as well as a number of smaller compliance or regulatory projects. Examples include rework of imported products for compliance, graphics changes in market, flavour variant market roll outs and gifting.

The team enjoys ties with Brand Change globally, and with marketing brand teams to ensure that Australia’s product change project portfolio is proactively managed to produce maximum value.

The focus of this role is to execute small scale brand change projects and imports to support Australia Brand Teams strategy.This role is responsible for successful project management of projects.

This position is a 12-month Family leave cover.

What does this role look like for you?

  • Positively lead the execution of all assigned projects including commercialisation of market specific labelling. Ensure projects are executed to agreed KPIs around agility, reliability and quality design. Ensure all developed packaging meets regulatory, customer and Diageo quality and compliance requirements through application  of checklists and trial procedures
  • Champion the Planview processes to drive prudent commercialisation practises
  • Assist in the development and implementation of improved project management principles, processes and ways of working
  • Build & maintain solid working relationships across business strategic partners and suppliers
  • Take the lead to coordinate and drive results from brand change teams in Scotland/ Ireland/ Asia/ North America
  • Flexibility to lead workstreams across different timezones

What will you bring to the table?

  • Degree educated
  • 1-2 years broad technical or operations experience in an FMCG environment
  • Understanding of project management principles
  • General commercial awareness and understanding between risk and reward
  • Strong leadership skills to build and maintain effective cross-functional teams
  • High energy and resilience
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational skills and computer literacy
  • Knowledge of supply chain & imports would be beneficial
