As Sustainability Manager, Data and Reporting, you’ll shape Dexus’s environmental impact by leading the collection, assurance, and reporting of sustainability data. Your insights will drive decision-making, ensure regulatory compliance, and set the benchmark for transparent reporting. You’ll also support key sustainability initiatives, and play a leading role in progressing our strategy to enhance our sustainability data ecosystem .

How you will make an impact

  • Maintain and enhance sustainability and environmental datasets, ensuring compliance and transparency in all reporting.
  • Lead or contribute to the evolution of data platforms and processes, driving automation and efficiency.
  • Support utility contract management and vendor management programs.
  • Deliver independent assurance over environmental and social metrics, and prepare high-quality submissions for sustainability surveys and benchmarks.
  • Contribute to the development and governance of Dexus’s sustainability strategy, including energy, water, biodiversity, and waste.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a high-performing, outcomes-focused team culture.

About you

You’re a passionate advocate for sustainability, known for your collaborative spirit and ability to bring people together to achieve shared goals. You communicate with empathy and clarity, listen actively, and build trust across teams. Your positive attitude, commercial mindset, and adaptability help you influence outcomes and drive meaningful change in a dynamic environment.

Technical skills and experience (you’ll bring most of the following):

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, Sustainability Management, Sustainability Data Science. Finance/Accounting, or similar.
  • Proven experience developing and delivering environmental sustainability programs in a corporate setting.
  • Strong program management skills, with a track record of leading or supporting large-scale change initiatives.
  • Advanced data analysis and numerical skills, with experience managing environmental datasets and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
