The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) is offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to vital national infrastructure. We're seeking a SWIFT Integration Specialist for a one-year fixed-term role. This position is ideal for someone with strong experience managing SWIFT applications in the financial services sector and deep expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

About the Role

  • Lead the integration and configuration of SWIFT vendor solutions, including Payment Access Gateways (PAGs), Domestic Messaging Channels (DMCs), and hardware security modules.
  • Collaborate with teams working on the New Payments Platform (NPP) and Fast Settlement Systems (FSS) to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Maintain, patch, and upgrade SWIFT systems while ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Provide technical and functional support for seamless payment processing and settlement.
  • Troubleshoot integration and messaging issues.
  • Identify and mitigate risks through proactive planning and execution.
  • Apply knowledge of VMware (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi) and Cisco UCS network technologies.
  • Stay current with SWIFT and payment system innovations to offer strategic insights.

About You

  • Proven experience with SWIFT products such as PAGs, DMCs, AWP, HSMs, and SWIFT Networks.
  • Strong proficiency in Red Hat Linux.
  • Solid understanding of payment systems, settlement processes, and real-time payment infrastructure.
