About this role
Due to an increase in recruitment activity across our business, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant/Advisor to join our national Talent Acquisition team on a 6-month contract.
This role will see you work closely with hiring managers across a portfolio of Service Line teams to understand their hiring needs and take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process, whilst providing an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of end-to-end recruitment for a broad range of positions, including drafting job advertisements, candidate screening, interview scheduling, offers and pre-employment checks
- Develop a deep understanding of our employer brand, EVP and employee benefits to be able to effectively communicate Grant Thornton's point of difference with potential candidates
- Collaborate with the People and Culture team and senior stakeholders to understand changing business needs and identify talent requirements
- Provide an exceptional level of candidate care to manage the engagement with potential candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Skills & experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- Demonstrated success in a recruitment or talent acquisition role (large corporate experience will be highly regarded)
- Proven track record of delivering end to end recruitment solutions
- Ability to operate autonomously and drive own outcomes
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing talent pools
- Proven influencing and stakeholder management exposure
- Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
- Sense of humour - we enjoy our work and we take it seriously, but we keep things in perspective
- Experience in using applicant tracking systems (Workday Recruitment experience will be highly regarded but not essential)
