About the role
 
In this 12-month maternity cover contract, the Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for leading our small but mighty recruitment function and driving the talent strategy for the business. This role partners closely with senior leadership, hiring managers, and the wider People team to deliver a high-quality, scalable recruitment function that attracts, assesses, and hires exceptional talent.
This is a hands on transactional recruitment role, so would suit someone coming from a scaling organisation used to working in a fast paced environment. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage full recruitment lifecycle for senior and group roles, ensuring efficient and high-quality outcomes.
  • Coach and enable hiring managers on best-practice recruitment, assessment techniques, and decision-making.
  • Maintain consistency in job descriptions, interview processes, and candidate evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies.
  • Mentor, and develop internal recruiters (based in AU and UK)
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners, including agencies and talent platforms.
  • Optimise recruitment processes to improve speed, efficiency, and quality of hire.
  • Own the ATS platform (Lever), ensuring clean data, reporting accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Track, analyse, and report on recruitment metrics monthly.
  • Ensure every candidate has a positive and consistent experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain high standards for communication, feedback, and professionalism at all touchpoints.
  • Act as an ambassador of the organisation’s culture and values.

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 5+years recruitment experience, ideally already in a TA Lead or similar role.
  • Experience working within a scaling environment or complex organisation.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders and influencing at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, assessment methodologies, and recruitment best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with ATS platforms and recruitment analytics (experience using Lever is a bonus)
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
