About the Role

As the Talent Acquisition Manager – Tech, you’ll be a driving force behind building our world-class Product & Technology teams. Partnering closely with hiring managers and senior leaders, you’ll own the full recruitment lifecycle—from deeply understanding role requirements and shaping compelling job briefs, to sourcing, engaging, and securing exceptional technical talent who align with ROLLER’s vision and values.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor, using your deep knowledge of the tech talent market to guide best practices, provide market insights, and shape strategies that attract the very best. Your expertise in both active sourcing and passive talent engagement will ensure we not only fill current roles but also build a pipeline of future stars.

This is a hands-on and strategic role where you’ll get to flex your creativity in employer branding, candidate experience, and innovative sourcing approaches. You’ll collaborate with our global teams, play a key role in promoting our EVP to the market, and help us continue to scale a product that brings joy and happiness to millions.

Based in our Sydney office, this role offers a hybrid work model—three days in-office to foster collaboration and connection, and the flexibility to work from home on other days.

Why ROLLER?

At ROLLER, our people are the secret sauce to our success, and in this role, you’ll shape the future of our Product & Tech teams. You’ll work on exciting challenges, build best-in-class hiring practices, and partner with talented leaders across the globe to attract and secure top tech talent. This isn’t just about filling roles — you’ll be a trusted talent partner, providing stakeholders with ongoing guidance, market insights, and strategic advice on everything from role design to industry trends.

If you’re passionate about the tech talent space, thrive on delivering an exceptional candidate experience, and enjoy acting as a strategic advisor, this role offers the perfect mix of impact, variety, and growth. You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-energy Talent Acquisition team, reporting to the Director of Talent. With the resources and flexibility to innovate, you’ll have the opportunity to influence global hiring strategies, strengthen our employer brand, and help build the teams that will take our product to the next level. While you’ll sometimes run full-cycle recruitment yourself, you’ll often have a tech sourcer to help you identify and engage top talent.

What You'll Do

  • Source, engage, and assess both active and passive tech talent through diverse channels including LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and tech communities.
