About Us

Australian Ethical is one of Australia’s fastest-growing super fund and ethical investment managers. We are ASX-listed with almost $14 billion in funds under management and offer a selection of award-winning managed funds and superannuation products.

Our purpose is to invest for a better world, and we have been pioneers in this space for almost 40 years. For us, investing has two aims – generating solid financial returns and a positive impact for people, planet, and animals. At Australian Ethical, we prove that money can be a force for good. We do this by staying true to our purpose, which is embedded throughout our organisation and drives our everyday activities as a business, investor, brand, employer, and corporate citizen. We’re a registered B Corp and fully committed to an inclusive, equitable and forward-thinking workplace culture.

Join a growing, purpose-driven ASX-listed organisation as a Talent Acquisition Specialist on a 12-month contract. You'll play a key role in sourcing and hiring top talent during an exciting period of growth. This role is ideal for someone who’s hands-on, collaborative, and ready to make an impact.

Your new role:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Australian Ethical, you'll be at the forefront of finding and securing the talent that drives our purpose forward. From end-to-end recruitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experience, you’ll play a key role in building a high-performing, engaged workforce. This is your opportunity to shape the future of a values-driven organisation by bringing in the people who make it all possible.

Key responsibilities:
- Proactively source quality candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals
- Review applications to assess suitability for roles and organisational fit
- Conduct initial screens and interviews, capturing clear, detailed notes on candidate suitability
- Manage job offers and negotiate employment terms when required
- Coordinate testing and due diligence with the P&C Coordinator
- Ensure a smooth, professional, and engaging experience throughout the recruitment process
- Maintain accurate records in the ATS and contribute to system improvements and data-driven hiring

We are looking for someone with:
- 2+ years' experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes, preferably within financial services
- Strong sourcing skills across multiple channels, including LinkedIn and networks
- Ability to assess candidates for both technical skills and cultural fit
- Confident interview and offer negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail with pre-employment checks and system accuracy
- A commitment to delivering a positive, professional candidate experience
- Strong collaboration skills with hiring managers and internal stakeholders
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for finding great talent
- Alignment with our values – Action, Authenticity, Empathy, Curiosity and Connection

We’re also open to candidates from resourcing or HR coordination backgrounds who have a strong interest in recruitment and are looking to take the next step in their career

What’s in it for you:
- A competitive salary with bonus earning potential
- Hybrid work arrangements
- Wellbeing program that includes an extra 5 days of leave above statutory requirement
- Purpose aligned volunteer days
- 20 days paid annual leave with an additional 3 paid days of annual leave over the Christmas period

We’re open to discussing flexible work arrangements and may consider candidates on either a full-time or part-time basis.
