Continue building your Talent Acquisition career with a global leader in veterinary diagnostics!

Do you enjoy partnering with hiring managers, asking great questions, and creating positive candidate and hiring manager experiences?

IDEXX, a global market leader in veterinary diagnostics, is seeking a part‑time Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our ANZ team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. This opportunity is ideal for someone with existing Talent Acquisition or recruitment experience who is seeking flexibility, meaningful work, and exposure to a global TA function.

You’ll be supported by experienced TA and HR colleagues—locally and globally—who value collaboration, knowledge sharing, and high‑quality recruitment outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll play an important role in supporting recruitment and talent initiatives across Australia and New Zealand. In this role, you will:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and support the delivery of high‑quality recruitment outcomes.

  • Support the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle, including drafting job ads, screening candidates, coordinating interviews and assessments, and managing reference checks.

  • Manage recruitment across a variety of role types, ensuring a professional and consistent approach.

  • Deliver a smooth and positive candidate and hiring manager experience through clear communication and strong organisation.

  • Use social media and sourcing platforms to promote roles and support employer branding initiatives.

  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, schools, and industry networks to support early and emerging talent pipelines.

  • Utilise modern recruitment technology, including our CRM, ATS, psychometric tools, and market data platforms.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and people‑focused, with prior experience in Talent Acquisition or recruitment. You’ll be confident supporting recruitment activity while continuing to build your capability in a collaborative environment.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Previous experience in recruitment or Talent Acquisition (in‑house or agency).

  • A passion for connecting with people and delivering great candidate experiences.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Experience using ATS and/or CRM systems (highly regarded).

  • Confidence building relationships and asking thoughtful, insightful questions.

  • A positive, flexible, can‑do attitude and strong service orientation.

  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast‑paced environment.

What We Offer

At IDEXX, we’re passionate about helping people grow while doing meaningful work that makes a difference. When you join our Talent Acquisition team on this 6‑month fixed‑term, part‑time contract, you’ll be trusted, supported, and encouraged to make an immediate impact. We offer:

  • Flexibility and balance – A part‑time role with flexibility to suit you, with hybrid working arrangements to support wellbeing and lifestyle needs.

  • Development and exposure – Hands‑on involvement in end‑to‑end recruitment, supported by experienced TA and HR leaders across ANZ and globally.

  • Supportive, collaborative culture – A team that values trust, learning, collaboration, and innovation.

  • Meaningful impact – Play a role in attracting talent who support veterinary professionals and improve animal health.

  • Global exposure – Work within a global TA function and gain experience with best‑practice recruitment tools and processes.

  • Modern recruitment tools – Use contemporary ATS, CRM, psychometric tools, and market insights platforms.

  • Pet‑friendly workplace – Bring your pet to work and be part of an organisation that truly understands the human–animal bond.

  • Health and wellbeing support – Access wellness programs, fitness reimbursements, and employee support resources.

  • Great employee perks – Discounts on pet products and diagnostic testing.

  • Giving back – Paid volunteer days and charity support through our global One IDEXX program.

If you’re seeking a part‑time opportunity where you can apply your Talent Acquisition experience, contribute from day one, and work with purpose, IDEXX offers the opportunity to learn, add value, and thrive.
