This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as we expand, in a fixed term part time capacity. This role is fixed term until end of February 2027, working 3-4 days a week. This role is ideal for someone who has recently left tertiary study and is looking to begin their Talent Acquisition career.

The purpose of our Talent and Office Coordinator is to identify and secure top talent to our organisation and to keep our workplace running smoothly and efficiently. In the role, the successful candidate must be resourceful and extremely motivated to source great talent and create a seamless employee experience supporting day-to-day operations. Working with the P&C team based in Melbourne, you will support the Sydney team on their employee experience needs. 


Requirements

What you'll do:

  • Identify, source, and attract top talent using a variety of channels, including social media, job boards, and employee referrals.
  • Create compelling job descriptions and advertisements to engage high-quality candidates and build a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct phone screens to assess candidates’ skills and suitability, and facilitate the full interview process, including scheduling, coordination, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with people leaders to understand team requirements and develop tailored recruitment plans that meet business needs.
  • Support onboarding logistics for new starters, including workspace setup, access, welcome packs, and introductions to the team.
  • Foster a positive and engaging workplace experience for employees, candidates, and visitors.
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including supplies, equipment, vendor relationships, and office maintenance.
  • Oversee workplace health, safety, and security compliance, acting as the main point of contact for office-related queries.
  • Maintain office policies, procedures, and documentation, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve recruitment practices, processes, and overall office efficiency through continuous evaluation and collaboration with other departments.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in talent acquisition, office coordination, administration, or similar roles preferred  
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills.  
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems to manage and coordinate recruitment processes.  
  • Results-driven with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.  
  • Problem solving initiative with a high level of organisation skills 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
