Ready to make a real impact in a global organisation and help shape the future of our people? Sime is seeking a proactive and energised Training and Leadership Development Coordinator to join our team in South Brisbane.

Our Leadership and Talent Development Team operates as a Centre of Excellence for Sime Industrial, providing expertise across all facets of leadership and organisational culture across our Asia Pacific businesses.

This role is perfect for a recent graduate or someone looking to specialise in leadership and organisational development. You’ll enjoy balancing day‑to‑day training coordination, reporting, and resource design, while also contributing to key development projects. In this role, you will gain hands on experience in leadership development, talent identification and succession planning, organisational development, and employee engagement.

You will play a vital role in developing resources that support our leaders and contributing to initiatives such as onboarding programs, performance development, and change management. Expect variety, collaboration, and the chance to shape meaningful development experiences across the Asia Pacific region.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the delivery and coordination of Leadership and Organisational Development programs
  • Coordinating our Mentoring Programs, including participant engagement, tracking, and reporting
  • Coordinating leadership training activities, including liaising with vendors, preparing materials and communications, managing catering, and processing payments
  • Assisting with Talent Reviews and preparing quarterly reporting on promotions, exits, and development outcomes
  • Assisting with the research and design on projects across the organisation such as new Leader Onboarding and employee engagement initiatives
  • Managing training attendance records, surveys, and feedback analysis to measure learning impact
  • Designing and maintaining leadership development resources on the intranet
  • Leading the design and delivery of the Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
  • Providing day‑to‑day administrative support to the Talent & Leadership team

Who We’re Looking For

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Qualification in Human Resources or a related field (desirable)
  • Excellent research, reporting, and presentation‑writing abilities
  • High attention to detail with data analysis capability
  • Organisational and planning skills
  • Confident and effective stakeholder communicator
  • Exposure to leadership, performance, and culture initiatives (desirable)
  • Proactive mindset with a strong solution focus
