At Intelligen, we’re building something different. Over the past three years, we’ve evolved from a bold startup to a trusted partner for some of Australia’s most complex data transformations. We’ve helped organisations move from legacy to modern platforms, embedded governance into decision-making, and brought AI into the hands of the business responsibly and at speed.

But we’re just getting started. As we scale into our next phase of growth, we’re building a world-class team across data engineering, data governance, and AI engineering, and we need exceptional talent acquisition capability to get us there.

As we continue to scale, we are investing in our talent capability to support growth across data, AI, and governance. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping how we attract and engage top talent in a highly competitive market.

About the role

We are looking for a Talent Sourcing Specialist based in Sydney to support hiring across our data, AI, and data governance practices. This is a hybrid, permanent role focused on proactively identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of high-quality talent.

You will work closely with recruiters and business stakeholders to deliver strong candidate pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and enjoys combining research, strategy, and relationship building to deliver results.
What you will do…

  • Design and execute sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive talent using a range of tools and platforms
  • Conduct market research, talent mapping, and competitor analysis to support priority hiring needs
  • Build and maintain accurate, audit-ready pipelines within ATS/CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance
  • Deliver qualified candidate slates to recruiters, including screening insights and role alignment
  • Track and analyse sourcing metrics to optimise strategies and inform hiring forecast
  • Partner with recruiters, marketing, and program teams to align sourcing efforts, enhance employer branding, and support hard-to-fill roles
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and provide market insights on talent availability, locations, and compensation
  • Identify opportunities to improve sourcing processes, tools, and overall efficiency
  • Support hiring events and related activities as required

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in talent sourcing or recruiting operations with a Data, Tech or IT background
  • Someone who loves to talk, engage, build relationships and loves putting a team together!
  • Hands-on experience using applicant tracking systems and or talent CRMs for candidate management and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to execute sourcing campaigns using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and resume databases
  • Strong research and talent mapping capability across technical or specialist domains
  • Ability to engage and build relationships with passive candidates
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to track and interpret sourcing metrics
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining system accuracy and compliance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team environment

Benefits

We’re not just delivering AI and data projects.. we’re humanising them. That means we care deeply about the how, not just the what. We value curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to challenge the status quo. We look for people who are driven to build a business, get curious, and offer opinions and ideas.

You’ll join a team that’s smart, kind, and ambitious. You’ll have real influence - in your projects, your practice, and the broader business. And as we grow, so will you. Here’s what that looks like:

Grow With Purpose

  • Structured development pathways so you always know what you’re working toward.
  • Paid certifications across all major cloud and data technologies (mastery matters)
  • Weekly training and knowledge exchanges where practitioners share real project insights.

Support That Helps You Thrive

  • A dedicated support lead to mentor, guide and help you navigate your career
  • Regular 360° feedback loops, giving you clear direction and honest insight into your progress.

A Community You’ll Enjoy Being Part Of

  • Innovation days where you can experiment, prototype and sharpen new skills.
  • Team days, social catchups,  many new community clubs…
  • Opportunities to lead, influence and shape our growing practice as we expand across the region.

If you want to be part of a team that cares just as much about how we deliver as what we deliver; where curiosity is valued, ideas matter, and your impact is felt - drop us a message and start the conversation today.
