An exciting opportunity to be part of Perpetual Wealth Management and as a team leader you will lead the Fiduciary Operations Team to deliver a great customer experience and achieve performance and business goals.
The wealth management business consists of three distinct brands in addition to Perpetual Private – Fordham, Jacaranda financial planning and Priority Life – offering a unique mix of wealth management, advice and trustee services. With a diverse range of capabilities including strategic advice on superannuation and retirement planning, general investment, asset protection, insurance, tax management, estate planning, aged care, social security, succession planning and philanthropy. Our clients include individuals, families, businesses, not-for-profit organisations and Indigenous communities throughout Australia.
About the Role

Encourage team members to be productive, accurate, and proactive, while fostering mutual support and development using their skills and knowledge to contribute to divisional service and business outcomes.

Plan and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines and achieve outcomes.

Serve as an escalation contact for the client operations team and key stakeholders, including Perpetual Private client teams, Advice Delivery, and Trustee Services.

Ensure service levels are met and outcomes achieved.

Oversee key trustee service administration and obligations.
-
Identify training and development gaps/opportunities for individuals and teams, and collaborate with management and the wider business to deliver relevant programs.

Conduct quality reviews and system transaction monitoring to minimize key risks and ensure adherence to procedures and controls within the team.

Provide support for complex and high-risk transactions.

Assist in investigating and resolving complaints and incidents, ensuring adequate procedures and controls are in place or reviewed to mitigate risk and provide positive customer outcomes.

Manage recruitment, career development, talent profiling, and performance management of team members.

Run effective team meetings and staff update sessions to keep the team connected and informed about key events and activities.

Support the management team as needed.

Fulfill reporting requirements as agreed.
About you
We’re looking for someone with:
-
At least 2 years of experience in a Team Leader role.
-
A minimum of 4 years of experience in the Financial Services industry.

Demonstrated strong people leadership skills.

Effective influencing and negotiating abilities.
-
Proven track record in a customer-oriented role.
-
High attention to detail.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Strong self-management and time management capabilities.
