ABOUT WEDDED WONDERLAND

Wedded Wonderland is the global luxury destination wedding and celebrations platform with a Sydney-based team of 25, a growing remote team across the Philippines and globally, and an active events and activations calendar. We run lean — no heavy servers, no on-premise infrastructure — but we move fast, we depend on our tech stack working perfectly every day, and we hold team events and activations that require hands-on technical support outside of standard business hours.

THE ROLE

This is the role for someone who genuinely enjoys being the person people come to when something is not working — and who takes quiet pride in the fact that, most of the time, things do not break on their watch. You will own the day-to-day technology experience for our Sydney team: setting up laptops, onboarding new starters, managing our software stack, and making sure every screen, every call, every recording session, and every event runs without a technical hitch. We do not run heavy infrastructure — our stack is cloud-first and modern — but we do run fast, and we need someone who is equally fast, flexible, and calm under pressure. Weekend availability for team events and activations is part of this role.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Set up and configure Lenovo laptops for new starters — Windows environment, software installation, account provisioning, and first-day readiness
  • Own the onboarding tech experience for every new team member — from device setup to software access across Zoho, GHL, Aircall, Riverside, and all team tools
  • Manage user accounts and access across the full software stack — provisioning, deprovisioning, password resets, and permission management
  • Maintain and troubleshoot the Sydney office AV setup — screens, monitors, webcams, microphones, and display connections for meetings and presentations
  • Set up and support Riverside.fm sessions for content recording — audio and video quality checks, session configuration, and real-time support during recordings
  • Provide first-line support for day-to-day tech issues across the team — hardware, software, connectivity, and peripheral problems resolved quickly without escalation where possible
  • Manage the Aircall phone system — user setup, number management, call routing, and integration with Zoho CRM
  • Coordinate with Zoho, GHL, and other SaaS vendors for support cases that require escalation beyond first-line resolution
  • Maintain an asset register of all 25 laptops and peripherals — warranty tracking, replacement planning, and software licence management
  • Be available and on-site for team events, activations, and weekend activities that require AV setup, tech support, or device management
  • Proactively identify tech friction points across the team and propose improvements — you notice when something is slow, awkward, or inefficient before anyone complains

Requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 2+ years in an IT support, helpdesk, or technology coordinator role — ideally in a fast-moving SME, startup, or media/events environment
  • Solid hands-on experience with Windows and Lenovo hardware — you can configure a laptop from scratch in under an hour
  • Working knowledge of cloud-first SaaS environments — you are comfortable managing users and permissions across multiple platforms simultaneously
  • Experience with Zoho suite (CRM, Desk, or similar) — user management and basic admin
  • Experience with VoIP phone systems — Aircall or comparable
  • AV setup and troubleshooting experience — screens, display connections, webcams, microphones, and conference room tech
  • Based in Sydney with genuine availability for occasional weekend events and team activities — this is a real requirement, not a formality
  • Patient, calm, and responsive under pressure — when a recording session is about to start and the audio is not working, you fix it quickly and quietly

Benefits

BONUS IF YOU HAVE

  • Experience supporting a media, content production, or events company
  • Familiarity with Riverside.fm or similar remote recording platforms
  • Experience managing a mixed fleet of Windows and Mac devices
  • Basic understanding of SaaS billing and licence management — tracking seat counts and renewals across multiple vendors
  • Event AV experience — setting up displays, sound systems, or streaming equipment for corporate or brand events

HOW TO APPLY

Email [email protected] with subject 'Tech & IT Support — [Your Name]'. Include your CV and a brief description of the tech environment you currently support or have most recently supported — how many users, what platforms, and what a typical week looks like for you.

THE KIND OF PERSON WHO SUCCEEDS HERE

You are the kind of person who arrives before everyone else to make sure everything is set up, and you are still there at the end making sure everything is packed down properly. You take quiet pride in the fact that people rarely have to come to you with the same problem twice. You are patient with non-technical colleagues, fast with fixes, and proactive about spotting problems before they become complaints. You are comfortable at a Friday team dinner and equally comfortable at a Saturday brand activation — this role lives beyond the 9-to-5 and you are genuinely fine with that.
