About the Role

An opportunity has become available for an individual to join our Product Support & Engineering department, in the position of Technical Support Assistant. In this role, the successful candidate will be required to manage the current workload of Special Feature & Modification Requests and Engineering Change Requests to assist and support the Product Engineers & Managers.

About You

The ideal candidate Crown are looking for will have well developed mechanical aptitude, and experience in an industrial environment, ideally working with forklifts, earthmoving or construction equipment, and can utilize their experience to support our customers with specialized solutions. You will be familiar with reviewing and interpreting technical product specifications and manuals.


Requirements

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process and manage Modification Requests as directed.
  • Respond to helpdesk parts enquiries in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Provide engineering support by processing and managing Change Requests.
  • Maintain the electronic filing of new documents in the Technical Support Database.
  • Technical document creation.

Skills & Experience

  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Experience in a technical support role servicing industrial products/heavy equipment
  • Proficient in Lotus Notes & Microsoft Office Suite desirable
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Previous Experience in a similar role
