Lead architecture and implementation of insurance solutions using Duck Creek or Guidewire across Policy, Claims, Billing, Reinsurance, Clarity, and Digital platforms. Develop architectural blueprints, manage integrations via APIs/middleware, mitigate technical risks, coordinate deployments with development/QA/DevOps, provide technical leadership and mentorship, and engage stakeholders to translate requirements and present solutions.
Role • Technical Architect - Insurance Responsibilities • Architecture & Design: o Lead the architectural design and development of advanced insurance solutions using the Duck Creek or Guidewire suite of products. o Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across various platforms and products, including Policy, Claims, Billing, Clarity, Reinsurance, and Digital platforms. o Develop and maintain architectural blueprints and detailed design documents. o Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle. • Implementation & Integration: o Oversee the end-to-end implementation and integration of Duck Creek/Guidewire solutions within the client's environment. o Ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems, leveraging APIs and middleware. o Coordinate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of solutions. • Technical Leadership: o Provide technical direction and mentorship to development teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. o Conduct architectural reviews and code inspections to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. o Stay updated with the latest advancements in Duck Creek and Guidewire technologies and incorporate them into the architecture. • Stakeholder Engagement: o Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, translating them into robust technical solutions. o Present architectural solutions to clients, explaining complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. o Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication. • Innovation & Continuous Improvement
