About the role
As a Technical Business Analyst/Associate Product Owner you will work closely with stakeholders from product, marketing, risk, technology and our customer division to gather requirements, define business processes, and ensure successful system integrations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to Product Owner (PO) responsibilities, supporting the prioritization of backlogs, defining product roadmaps, milestones and bridging the gap between business and technical teams.
You are someone who takes a proactive self-driven approach to problem-solving and requirements analysis and some of your responsibilities will include (but aren't limited to)

Collaborating with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business and technical requirements.

Use your technical analytic skills to examine existing codebase to understand functionality, data flows, integrations and dependencies.

Work with solution architects and technical teams to define system integrations and data migration approaches.

Map functional and non-functional requirements, breaking down into user stories, acceptance criteria and technical requirements.

Facilitate workshops and work with key business stakeholders including product team, technical support, risk and marketing.

Support testing and validation activities, ensuring the successful implementation of new systems.

Play a key role in the migration of our on-premises applications and APIs to cloud aligning with our future technology strategy.

Work collaboratively with our offshore technology partner to support delivery and business outcomes.
Skills & Experience Required
You'll have around 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in a technology-driven environment. You'll have a proactive, self-driven approach to problem solving with good critical thinking and analytical skills.

Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, process mapping, and requirements gathering.

Experience working in an Agile environment, preferably with Scrum or SAFe frameworks

Ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

Strong stakeholder engagement skills with great verbal and written communication

Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, API documentation, Postman.

Exposure to legacy system decommissioning and large-scale technology transformation projects will be looked upon favourably.
