Hastings Deering are seeking a Technical Communicator to join our team.
We are open to this role being based at any of our major branches across Queensland.
This role is a Caterpillar designated position and the primary purpose of the role is to provide technical assistance to Caterpillar and dealer personnel with the objective of resolving technical and product problems. You do this by providing timely technical support and expertise to our internal teams and Caterpillar by effectively managing the identification, reporting, and resolution of product issues using correct procedures and reporting channels.
As the subject matter expert on an allocated product, our internal teams at Hastings Deering and Caterpillar look to you for your expertise! You will utilise your product knowledge and skills in SIS, Caterpillar systems, tooling, processes, literature, SOS interpretation, basic warranty and goodwill procedures to provide expert technical advice to internal teams and Caterpillar. As the technical expert you will also spend your day managing issues, reporting product problems and machine incidents to Caterpillar and reviewing service letters to provide advice and recommendations.
