Job Description

This role provides overall leadership to the team of data engineers and analysts to implement world-class data solutions that meet our clients’ diverse business objectives and needs. This role is both a client-facing consulting role and a hands-on programming/development role. Working with teams of internal data engineers. This role will lead in the delivery on modernizing their current data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes and data marts. 

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in leading a technical team of Data Engineers.
  • Strong experience with client engagement & aligning others to your ideas/solutions.
  • Strong experience with dimensional data modelling design principals - defining, reviewing and validating logical design against physical design and source to target mappings
  • Ability to clarify/translate customer requirements into Epics/Stories & remove ambiguity.
  • Ability to mentor other DE team members.
  • Participate in & facilitate interviews of future DE teammates.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Strong experience in working on AWS or Azure, Python, SQL, DWH
  • Experience in working on Databricks(preferable)
  • Experience in working on Banking domain is mandatory.
