We are seeking a Technical Lead to join the Corporate Systems – Enterprise Systems team within the Information Technology department, the largest division at the Bank.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity.
In this role, you will lead technical change initiatives across the application and infrastructure portfolio supporting the Corporate Services business departments. You will play a key role in uplifting the Bank’s Essential Eight maturity, collaborating with project working groups and stakeholders to assess business impact, influence technical solutions, and coordinate delivery.
This position requires a strong understanding of application and infrastructure architecture, the solution development lifecycle (SDLC), and core IT Service Management practices including Change Management, Business Relationship Management, Information Security, and Configuration Management.
About You
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, project teams, and BAU teams to identify, validate, and refine business and technical requirements.
- Provide technical solution options and associated time and effort estimates to project managers.
- Enhance solution availability, security, and performance by developing processes, guidelines, and documentation aligned with Bank standards and best practices.
- Apply Bank-standard SDLC methodologies to support delivery of changes impacting Corporate Services.
- Perform technical analysis and solution design, undertake complex tasks, and ensure systems are adequately tested.
- Maintain system development standards and participate in code reviews.
- Conduct research and evaluate new software, tools, and techniques to ensure alignment with the Bank’s enterprise architecture and standards.
You are a collaborative and technically skilled professional with experience leading change across enterprise systems. You bring a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong ability to engage with diverse stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
