The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to join our Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) team as a Technical Lead. The role involves leading a team of technicians and engineers across the Asia Pacific region through mentoring / training and upskilling.
Our head office is based in Belrose (on Sydney’s Northern Beaches), where you will initially do your onboarding and then working mostly on site (Western Sydney or South-Western Sydney) or Hybrid working arrangements in support of the greater team.
Responsibilities within Mobile Automation (MA)

Leading Engineers & Technicians through mentoring / training / upskilling

Responsibility for Customer Service technical competency
-
Support of innovation, technical continual improvements

Technical oversight responsibility for Quality of execution and Service Projects
-
Support of Servicing continual improvement
-
Proactive problem identification for projects, breakdowns and condition monitoring.

Remote and onsite technical execution of projects, breakdowns and condition monitoring.

Responsible of service reports and service application
-
Identifying technical and process improvements
-
Help lead the MA Service business towards goal of predictive maintenance and product reliability improvements
Tasks and Qualifications:
What We Are Looking For
-
3+ years’ experience in Industrial Automation
-
Trade qualification (Electrical and / or Mechanical) – would be an advantage
-
Engineering qualification (Controls or Mechatronics) – ideally preferred
-
Strong communication skills
-
Significant technical problem-solving experience
